About the event
The Pembroke Taparelli Arts and Film Festival (PTAFF) is an International Music, Art, and Film Festival whose primary focus is social justice. PTAFF is a 501c3 organization celebrating the innovative and influential artistry of independent filmmakers and artists (“artivists”) stirred by social justice. Each year this four day festival, screens films, exhibit art Committed to diversity and inclusion, PTAFF features films from culturally and ethnically diverse communities, including female filmmakers, LBGTQ+, and disabled individuals.
With the world currently in social and political unrest, citizens around the world are concerned about the future of humanity and more importantly what can be done to unite us all and bring global peace .
The Pembroke Taparelli Arts and Film Festival has chosen Poverty and its impacT on our most vulnerable citizens as it's focus this year. We are combing the globe to find the most inspiring and meaningful work of art that speak to the current state of our world.
