About the event

What does strength look like when we make room for healing?

Join PTAFF for the second installment of our In The Name of Love mental health and wellness series: Strength Reimagined: Black Men, Urban Pressure & Leadership.

This powerful community conversation will explore the realities Black men face as they navigate leadership, family responsibilities, community expectations, emotional wellness, trauma, and the pressure to always appear strong.

Through engaging panel discussions, storytelling, audience dialogue, wellness activities, and community resources, we will create space for honest conversations about mental health, vulnerability, resilience, and healing.

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

PTAFF was created from a simple but powerful belief that stories can change lives.

What began as a vision has grown into a platform for artists, filmmakers, and communities to come together, be seen, and be heard. This work is deeply personal, and we are committed to building a space where creativity and impact live side by side.

As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same: to elevate voices, spark dialogue, and create meaningful cultural experiences that inspire change.

Michelle “Andrea Meshel” Smith
Founder & Executive Director
