PTAFF Playwright Competition
CALL FOR ENTRY:
Submit your story and help shape the future
The Pembroke Taparelli Arts and Film Festival is committed to the artist focused on creating work that speak to social justice. We provide artists from underserved, underrepresented, and stigmatized communities with the opportunity to be heard via their artistic creations.

In alignment with our commitment to artists using their voice for change, we are now accepting submissions for our Playwright Competition. We believe art has the power to transform lives, provide truth, and bring impacting change to humanity. We are asking playwrights to submit original material that challenge the status quo, material that provides in depth analysis of the current condition of social justice in your neighborhood, country, or globally.
Submit your story and help shape the future - We want to hear your story of the rise of the CHANGE AGENT - a man, woman, child, the family, the friends, the organization, the group that recognizes his or her power and finds the courage to challenge the status quo and takes action towards creating a better future, a more equitable society where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
You can use any social justice issue to explore “How we get to Peace and Harmony”
The plays may be in any form you choose, they may be grounded in reality, naturalism or they may be fantasy, surreal, or literal. We look forward to your submissions, we are seeking diverse voices, reflective of the various communities impacted by these issues.
